Dr. Hazel Hanson

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share with you about Compassionate Outreach Foundation Inc. COFI, was established in 1992 as a charitable organization dedicated to providing physical and spiritual needs to societies most vulnerable; the poor regardless of race, colour, or creed.

COFI has been a Vaughan based registered charity for over 7 years, and is an esteemed organization in Woodbridge as well as in the larger Caribbean.

The ministry assists by way of providing food, clothing, furniture, and meeting special needs of children affected by poverty and neglect. We respond to requests for special needs such as providing hot meals for a women’s shelter presently in one of our Canadian communities. We are presently contributing to the Woodbridge Public School breakfast program.

Since 1992, COFI’s compassion has reached many; and now sponsors over 1,600 needy children with free meals in over 65 schools in eleven parishes in Jamaica namely: Hanover, Westmoreland, St.James, St. Elizabeth, Trelawny, Manchester, St. Catherine, St. Andrew, Claredon, St. Ann, and Portland; as well as in Nevis, Nigeria, St. Vincent, South Africa and here in our Canadian communities.

The organization depends on the generosity of its Church family, Community, and Friends to feed the children and families in need. Please consider joining in partnership with us in this humanitarian need. We thank you for your consideration and there is no limit to the provision of care that you can provide; all contributions are valued. COFI will be happy to provide receipts for income tax purposes.

"There is no greater investment than investing in children, and there is no greater honor and joy than to invest in those who cannot afford nor have the means to help themselves."

If you have any questions regarding the organization, please feel free to contact Pastor Dr. Hazel Hanson, President, at (905) 264-5458 and or
